Head to head at this point in the season matters less than ever before. Let’s plays evils advocate for a second. FSU was left out last year because Travis was injured and they saw the team differently. Would they not apply that same logic to the coots and say “sellers was our second half of LSU injured” we have to realize they would have won soundly with him and he is back now. So IF and a BIG IF, they take the LSU loss differently and they jump ole p1ss and Bama?

I do think this will wind up being a "play in" game for the winner. However, SC may need a little help just being slightly off the Top 12 right now.

Absolutely zero chance the cluckers are jumping Alabama or Ole Miss if they beat us… even if they beat us by 40 it won’t matter.
Alabama and Ole Miss have the HH against them particularly Ole Miss who smashed them in Columbia 27-3.
As long as all 3 have 3 losses… the cluckers can’t jump them.

You’re right we aren’t the committee but if you or anyone else honestly thinks South Carolina of all teams is going to jump over an Alabama or Ole Miss after havin lost to both and they all have 3 losses then you’re out of your mind.
Brand bias also still matters as evidence by our #12 ranking. Not saying it’s the be all end all but the committee certainly is showing us love based on who we are and what Clemson has done in the past.
So if they’re showing us love… you think they’re going screw over Alabama for SC? Not happening boss
