CU folks have been to the venue and the bowl a bunch of times in recent years. a little fresher destination wouldn't hurt sales. Plus tourist wise how attractive is Atlanta really?

I can be spending New Year's Eve with friends watching the game on tv when I can't do that at the football game. Atlanta is a great city with TONS of stuff to do but it is also expensive to do those things. Being a late game the typical family can't just drive down and then drive home afterward. If it was earlier in the day I think there would be more of that.
Cost is a big deal to me right now especially when Clemson offers those wonderful endzone seats or the crap leftover from the Higher priority point levels. That whole system needs some work.

If you're in Easley, I don't understand why you couldn't drive home after the game? Back by 1AM easily

I have enjoyed every other Peach Bowl but we are not going to this one. We can spend a night with friends enjoying the New Year's while watching the game on TV. Still saving hundreds of dollars and right now money is a HUGE issue!

Not that your points are invalid, but I think most fans who know football expect this game to be Clemson vs UCS part II with the same result.
Nobody wants to go watch us struggle against a good defense again.
I also think last year's Orange Bowl weighs heavily on the bowl attending fan base.
All around there just isn't much excitement for this game.

Also, these bowls need to rotate among conferences. I know many coots that have no interest in going back to Tampa. Tie-ins suck.
