Remember going in when considering the intentions and goals of this confused segment of the population that transgender is a mental illness by definition—
Vaguely related to the OP is a term I came across recently: "straightwashing". Discovered the word when reading a movie review, apparently occurs in television & film and the LBGT community finds it highly offensive—
