74 touches for a true freshman

Is absolutely wild, idc what anyone says Cade is a baller and is going to be very special. His speed running the ball is elite for a QB with a little more strength he’s going to be a problem.

Agree, Cade is something special.

Obviously, he's young and needs to correct a few things-- especially retreating so deep when he leaves the pocket, and along that line, leaving the pocket too soon. He gets so deep that there's nothing he can do but throw it away. I also thought he forced the throw on the late INT... he really didn't need to take that gamble on 1st down.

Again, I'm really looking forward to watching him grow. These are not criticisms, just my observations from last night.

Definitely going to have some growing pains, but last nights game in terms of growth will benefit Cade tremendously. The pressure last night is as bad as it gets and besides the back peddling I think he handled it well for his first start. What impressed me the most is he has that DW4/TLAW mentality when it comes to making a mistake he doesn’t get down he gets back up and goes after it. Very excited to see him have a full off season and spring/fall camps before next season. That kid just had that IT factor that can’t be taught, a lot of freshman would’ve been broken after last night. Even after the workload he had you could still see the fire in him when the reporter asked if we were slipping that kid isn’t going to settle for being mediocre.

Cade will be a great QB, no doubt - his mistakes last night were on the coaches … NO WAY his first start should have come in the Orange Bowl. He should have started since wk 3, or even before - he wouldn’t have been so antsy in the pocket if he had of started earlier in the season.

I have zero doubt Cade will figure it out, he has that elite drive to be better

If he started week 3, Clemson wouldn’t be in the orange bowl.

If we ran 101 plays, who ran the other 26 plays?
