Why didn't a reporter just ask, "Coach, you know what happened. Just tell us. Did your coaching staff receive information about opposing teams signals by remote scouting or using electronic (including cell phones) means? Just tell us the truth. That is all it takes. Why do you want to wait on due process when you know the truth?"

Harbaugh knows exactly what happened. He approved everything that happened. He's just trying to delay until he leaves. If he can postpone the investigation long enough, he can leave without blatantly lying to the public.

The rule in question affects fairness. “You can scout, but not in person, off-site”. Who cares? Tampering is probably a better fairness rule but rarely investigated. They are only chasing this because they have something to chase, not because they should.

( and back to the poster) We cannot speak to an ongoing investigation ( so they put everyone and everything they could be asked about under investigation) 5. I have not heard anything or seen anything about that so I will have to "Circle back to you on that ". 6. I will refer you to the other office on that for clarification 7. The other office says, "We have previously spoken to that and our position remains the same. 8. THAT IS NOT TRUE (Rarely if ever hear this anymore, especially since dadgum near everything they have said WAS true the past 7 years TURNED OUT NOT TO BE TRUE...and everything they said they did not know or did not happen..THEY DID KNOW AND DID HAPPEN}

He is delaying to try and get j to the playoffs this year then leave. Due process will happen under the fairness of the game mantra. What won’t be said is that is being pushed by the gambling industry who initially discovered this whole thing. There is no doubt Michigan cheated and Harbaugh is stupid if he thinks people will believe he did not know. What the gambling operations want to know is if Coaches bet on games knowing they were cheating and if Stallions sold this information to other coaches in games that did not involve Michigan. Michigan Coaches may not be the only ones that get blackballed from college football. ESPN, Fox and NBC all have very cozy relationships with the gambling world and they are the ones that fund College Football and Pro Football. Harbaugh may be blackballed from coaching anywhere but Pop Warner when things all said and done.
