They need an excuse for losing the game. The music (which they play every game, just like we do) is just an excuse, albeit a poor one, as to why/how they got that butt kicked. I doubt there will be much difference this year, other than we whip that butts in Athens rather than at the real "Death Valley" which is in Clemson.

No. We were the original football stadium that was referred to as "Death Valley". LSU established their name after we did. Theirs was "Deaf Valley" originally.

The article says they will be "able to utilize songs and music up until the point when the quarterback gets over the ball." Made me wonder - who enforces these kind of rules? It doesn't seem like something the refs could throw a flag for. Not singling out UGA, but with all the classy teams in the SEC, it wouldn't surprise me to see some of them take advantage in games against non-SEC teams. What's the worst that would happen, a fine from the league office.

Don't you guys realize piping music in between plays (which isn't even done much in DV) was probably worth at least 7 points for the UGA game?
If that Georgia DB hadn't been trying to get funky with it 10 seconds prior, there's almost no chance Sammy bulldozes him and runs another 70 yards for a touchdown.

The question is will they be able to play music for the next 10 seconds while the qb is over the ball waiting for the defense to substitute. That would seem logical that they could play travelling music for the d substitutes.
