It's just odd because it seems like every item someone wants to boycott

is already an item or company I don't do business with anyway. I've never been sold on Tesla, not 10 years ago, not 5 years ago, not yesterday or today. I just bought a new car last fall and it was another Toyota. No one ever wants to boycott Toyota. How am I to boycott a company whose products I don't buy anyway? I've been boycotting Tesla since day one I guess. Woke, MAGA, dem, pub, doesn't matter.
I just find it odd that as a consumer, the products I choose to buy are never from companies who end up the subject of a boycott.

Like paying $100k for an electric truck that can't fit a dog box FFS.
I have yet to see anyone dog driving for deer in SC with a dog box in the back of a cybertruck. Second thought, I've never seen anyone driving a cybertruck on a dog drive.
Probably plenty in Detroit though. Yall enjoy.

Think though, without your wife, you would be lucky to be able to drive a new Camry.

3 Camry's. 1 million miles. $1K in unplanned repairs.

Traded first one in at 229K miles. Second at 265K miles. Third I gave to my son at 236K miles. On fourth technically because one was totaled at 36K miles.
For the majority of those million miles, I was paid $0.60 per mile.
Math that out. That's just my mileage. I won't go into the other money made driving such a reliable vehicle. But if you make $100/hr+, you're not going to want to waste money at a charging station. I promise.
But Detroit needs more police officers. Lord knows. America loves you Manac, keep it up. We rely on you, and folks like you. I'm being serious. Twice over in fact.

You could also just admit that EVs arent a good fit for what you do

since you routinely drive beyond the range of an EV in a day. But they’re more efficient and have less maintenance than even your precious Camry.

It's not a "fault of yours". It's a luxury of yours due to your wife. Thas cool she made that happen. Be thankful and stop pretend you wouldn't be selling those Camrys without her.

Over 110k miles in 4 years, only bought one set of tires and refilled the wiper fluid twice, literally the only maintenance on it, easiest and best car I've owned.

I bet Tigermanac didn't have to pay about $20,000 in maintenance after ~ 150,000 - 200,000 miles like Tesla for new batteries. Of course, some last longer and some less. Add that cost to the original Tesla cost and that would just about buy 2 Camarys and pay for routine maintenance up to 250,000 miles.
What's the environmental cost for disposing of the old batteries? Are they recyclable? Oh yeah, they can be recycled, but, at a high cost for highly skilled labor and expensive chemical processes. Therefore, there's no real or standard recycling process because of the costs. Currently, it's easier and less expensive to r@pe the earth mining for lithium to make new batteries than recycling them. In the end, most car batteries end up in landfills polluting the land. Nice!

replaced in 150k-200k? Price has dropped to less than $15k now to replace a pack.
I'm not here to try to convince people to buy an EV, I don't care what people drive, but you're full of shít when it comes to your data.

You can get a deal on a used one now because of all the people dumping them. I think he has pretty much lost the European market for good by backing the neo-Nazi party in Germany as well as his romance with Donald, so there will be a big surplus of them in a few months. The GSA was scheduled to buy a few hundred thousand EVs under Biden, and ordinarily would have to accept the lowest bidder (per contract, so they end up with a mix; there are a bunch of kia plug-in hybrids in the fleet now). Trump can overrule the lowest bidder rule and order them to buy all Teslas.

The truck would still be garbage if Musk wasn't such an a-hole. I could only commute with sedan. Need to drive more than 5-6 hours on a road trip without stopping an hour to recharge (under the best circumstances).
