-- at least half the time. Some of his pass plays are actually "pitch and run". All teams would prefer to "only" run the ball, but that don't win these days.
The RB position has less experience than most years, but the power and speed is there. I don't expect a down year.
With what is believed to be a better "O" line, better receivers, and improved QB -- stopping the Clemson offense will difficult.
If the "D" is as improved as experts believe, this 2025 Tiger Team will be hard to handle.

She didn't learn to start with a .22 while you were eating and work her way up with larger calibers until you'd figured out the 12ga. wouldn't hurt you?

The improvement was obvious last year at QB, and WR We put up 24 on Texas without running the ball, and put up 0 against UGA, who had a comparable defense. We will need to see more improvement from the Oline, they were average at best last year, although injuries factored in at times. I suspect they will be the top unit in the ACC, but top 15-20 in the country. This should be enough to beat LSU, and make a run.

"O" line at Clemson has been "good enough" most years under Dabo, but never a team strength.

I think you are on to the correct "if" with respect to the D improvement.
The "ex-spurts" sure are touting the improvement before seeing a dang play. I guess (like me) they're assuming that Allen will have all of the D issues corrected by the opening game. I hope so.
What most seem to be basing their belief on is the amount of returning talent, but some of that talent was the problem with pursuit angles and tackling last year. I don't want to see them improve on the same things they were doing last year and mess up even better. I want to see that they've learned some new tactics.

One thing was line backers were not as advertised. Freshman Sam Brown was off the chart great - he will be a wrecking crew this year.

He and Wade Woodaz will make quite a Duo. Allen runs the 4-2-5 almost exclusively, so I will be curious to see if he moves Khalil Barnes back to Nickle to get our best athletes on the field. We will need another safety to step up, but I think we have enough dudes to work with back there. I expect a breakout year from Ashton Hampton, with Terrell picking up where he left off. Possibly Luckus can play some safety, he was our most physical DB before injury, I love watching him sling dudes to the ground, he is violent. Our starting 11 will be formidable if we can get a couple of safeties that match the talent outside.

I sure hope you're right about Sammy Brown.
I think it was the NC State game last year that I saw him come flying across the field and take the absolutely worst angle I've ever seen by a LB..... but I'll at least give him credit for doing it in a hurry. I think he missed the ball carrier by 3' along the sideline.
I also will give him credit for some improvement as the season progressed.

I believe he is the most talented player on the team. As his skill set improves due to excellent Clemson coaches - no limit.

The mistake was not spelling Mafah earlier in the season to save some mileage for the end of the year, but I guess they thought he was durable enough to go the distance. It put us in a bad spot because he was nowhere near healthy enough to play in the Texas game. But I am going to take it they did not feel ET was ready, and that our backs behind Jay Haynes would have been a liability.
