I haven’t noticed anyone talking about this on the board but something I said since after the Duke game is doesn’t Dabo & co. have all the bulletin board material they need?
I told my wife if I were Dabo I would have a sign made that just simply says 28-7 & I would hang it in the locker room as a reminder.
Plus all these media outlets, show host personalities & all of social media are hating on Clemson more than ever.
I just wonder if there is a silver lining? Like will the team be motivated by this. I guess I’m just a fan who refuses to bail on this team or be a doom & gloom person so maybe I’m just being hopeful.

Nothing wrong with being hopeful. I pull for them regardless, and there is not a thing I could do about the wins and losses.

I was there with many clients and a mansion rental on Keowee 2013 vs FSU... THE loudest Clemson I've ever heard. (FOR REFERENCE MY 1ST GAME WAS 1977 VS NOTRE DAME AND JOE MONTANA) "WE WILL, WE WILL ROCK YOU" was happening right b4 kickoff. Despite the loudest fans EVER in the valley and US being 6-0 with a huge win over #5 UGA...we were pummeled into submission 10 minutes into the 1st QTR. So, no, the opposing team does not GAS about crowd noise.

Somehow I don’t think being reminded of one of the worst games we’ve played in a while is great bulletin board material. Maybe a loop of some of our best moments during our championship runs to remind them that greatness is still in them and part of their DNA would be better.
There has been enough negative reminders lately so let’s try something different.

I completely disagree with you. These young men are alpha male elite athletes that aren’t even in their physical prime yet. They do not need a pat on the back & encouragement about what has been done from other teams. Young men like this respond to anger & revenge. They need to remember that Duke loss & they need to know the country is doubting them. That is the reason for bulletin board material.

Sure, let's just keep piling on like everyone else. They read the boards, they hear/watch what the media is saying about them. Right now there is NOTHING positive coming from anywhere. To your point, these are mostly 18-22 yos and how they process varies. Everyone responds differently, but I just don't see how increasing the load frees them up and gets them more focused.
And don't worry about completely disagreeing with me. My wife does it all the time...

I think you’re misunderstanding me. These young men are extremely confident individuals or they wouldn’t have made it this far. I’m sure they are pissed off but I doubt they’re feeling very sorry for themselves, that’s where bulletin board material plays its role. To motivate. If they are as good as they say they are they should be irate right now & worried about smashing every single future opponent into the ground. They know the Clemson family is here to support. They want to live up to expectations

Also, I think what I am talking about is more along the lines of what Dabo used to do. Remember BYOG and the ALL IN coins?
Lots of ways to motivate, and there really is no right or wrong answer. If there was, we would simply throw that switch and never lose a game.
