Definitely a good sign for us and one to watch. He's a very versatile athlete who has played several positions. In 2014, had 60 tackles, 25 PBUs, and 2 INTs on defense while rushing for 700 yards and 8 scores. He also caught 35 passes for 452 yds with 5 TD receptions. (Stats according to 24/7)

Visited for the Deshaun Watson vs scar game. The DB MVP at 2015 The Opening Regional in Atlanta. Ran a 4.4 40 at the Adidas Showcase, a 4.44 40 at Dawg Night, and a 4.45 at GT Camp. He was named First-Team DB MaxSports Freshman All-American (2013). He also earned MVP Freshman at the Army All-American Game in San Antonio, Texas (2013). All-Region Honorable Mention (2013). All-Gwinnett County Honorable Mention (2013). Holds a 3.4 GPA. Has offers from CU, FSU, UGA, GT, UK, Mich, and others.

Further reading on Williams- Archer ATH Jamyest Williams is a versatile athlete who played CB, KR, Slot WR, and even some RB at times on Friday night vs. Sandy Creek. He is not the biggest guy, but showed quickness with the ball in his hands. I was not impressed with him at corner, as he let some guys get behind him on two separate occasions, both leading to big plays, and one going for a touchdown. Williams also missed multiple tackles.
He doesn’t look like an SEC type player, but will definitely play college ball in Division 1. He is very athletic, and has the potential to be a solid WR at the next level. He has big play potential, and Archer tried to get him the ball throughout the game. One play impressed me in the 1st quarter when Williams jumped high for a ball in traffic and used his strong hands to secure the catch after being hit hard by Javon Jackson of Sandy Creek. He also had a couple of catches on swing routes, each going for about 10-15 yards. He showed good agility on short passes and kick returns, making defenders miss and getting an extra 5 yards.
Overall, Williams is good player on offense for Archer--a guy they really like with the ball. He started at corner also, but did not stand out at all on defense. I was a little surprised with his offer list so far, especially at CB, but being a 2017 kid, he has plenty of time to get better. Is there a more worn out, means nothing, POS tag than 'SEC-Type'...whatever? He is 'SEC', he's not 'SEC'...and the ubiquitous 'SEC Speed'...as in, "did you see the speed with which the SEC exited the CFB playoffs and bombed in their bowl games last year?"
Come on out from behind the curtain, SEC/Finebaum. No one's buying the OZ ESECPN myth...and Dorothy's been back in Kansas for a long time now.

Folks pronounce stuff however they want & oftentimes it doesn't even seem close to the actual spelling, lol.
I personally pride myself in having to be "corrected" by saying certain guys names wrong always...like Jamies (Jam-ees) Winston the crustacean-rapist 
( I'd go with "Jameest" here, but who the heck knows!?)
