I for one really hope we meet alabama in the title game this coming season. One of the better title games ive seen and personally i want to see my tigers take down the best when were crowned. What say you sir? Btw i have a lot of respect for alabama so im not trolling

And maybe you won't. I can see LSU winning the $ec this year, simply based on losing both starting running backs, your QB and several good OL. Not to mention losing several key pieces on the defense. We shall see.

LSU will be very good for certain this year, but they will have the same questions on offense that they did last year at least going into the season
Also, people talk about Alabama running backs being worn down going into the NFL which the stats do not bear out - but Fournette is being used at a much higher Pace than any Alabama running back under Saban

While there may be lingering questions, LSU returns 17 starters, 9 on offense, 8 on defense. Bama returns 11, including 5 on defense. Now I'm sure I'll get the "reload" not rebuild from Bama supporters, I think the loss of your QB and both running backs might be a bit tough, even for Bama. Personally, I don't care which one of you we play in the playoffs.

Until lsu shows signs of life at qb i dont see them being a contender. Fournette is a beast for sure but without some development in the pass game they wont get past alabama and id say they lose at least one other game. If it comes down to a shoot out or come from behind they are screwed. i could be wrong though
