I have nothing at all against transgender people. I haven’t walked in their shoes so I don’t understand it but I do not think it’s fair for any man to compete against women. They have a natural built in advantage and it’s not fair to the women who have worked so hard to compete. It’s not discrimination and hate to feel this way.

Completely agree. I am one of those Americans that wants you to be able to do you. That is until doing you infringes on others rights. Just have an open class. Bottom line their bodies and genetics are different.
This columnist just sounds so ignorant. But hey I bet she jumped up and screamed women’s rights when it come to the Roe decision. Hypocrisy knows no bounds.

Although she is correct, and I can sympathize with her, back from my university days, I also recall others like her shouting down anyone who would claim that men are "naturally" stronger than women, and consequently, might be more suitable for certain jobs, such as a fireman where you have to lug heavy equipment or carry people out of a burning fire.
If you deny reality enough, eventually nature strikes back.
I don't have any skin in this game, but which is it? Are men naturally stronger than women or not?

I agree that trans issues can be complex and that I don’t know much about tho issue. But I do know that biological men should not be allowed to compete in athletic competition for women. I care less about fairness to non-women in women’s’ sports than I do about fairness for women in those sports.

I do not struggle at all with this stance. Both are built differently. It is what it is. People making excuses for it wear me out. It’s basic biology. Everyone wants to follow the science unless it goes against their stance on an issue. Seen now that we have kids that want to identify as furries whatever the hell that is. Local school in our area is bringing this up in a school board meeting because the parents want accommodations made for her supposed identity as a cat.

IMO men who call themselves transgender so they compete in women’s sports are cowards who can’t make it in a MAN’s World. So they use male hormones to beat up or or basically cheat to win against women. And the useless NCAA and legislative officials think that is fair play.
