gone from $3.03 to $3.39 overnight. I made beeline to the WallyMart where it was still $2.84 ($2.74 with my W+ discount), so I topped off every drop I could squeeze in my tank.

Well, I think the gas stations must own McBee.

There are two of them and they combine for 1/2 of the McBee economy.
The other half is AO Smith and McLeod farms.

$69 to fill the tank.
Normally not that big of a deal, but I'll be pulling the boat to AL next week and probably running over 100 miles in the boat. I'm going to notice that.

right? Some folks have to adjust the price they charge for their work. For some folks, paying $8.00 more per tank is killer. Now those folks need to find a way to not drive so #### much or change some other behavior.

and I'm not super convinced as to how much you really save on gas what with having to pay for charging.
Not sure how to quantify home charging which should I would think account for most of it, but man o man when on the road I still think you are paying at least half or more for charging as you would for gas.
I suppose it's impossible, but I'd like to see how an ROI works on those vehicles. I'd think it's like a 10+ year payback. Could be wrong though, just spitballing.

but you would have a nicer, better handling, faster car.
Even with saving on fuel, you are going to pay more for the vehicle, more on taxes, more on insurance, and how is the resale near the end of battery life? I think you lose on the money end but gain on the performance end.

that for your charging, there isn't really a ROI. I didn't buy it to save money, it's fun as hell to drive and enjoy.
Supercharging costs still comes out cheaper per mile traveled than gasoline though.
There would be a ROI on the car if you have a 150mi commute for work every single day and can charge for free at work or cheaply at home though.
