Fans are fickle and I admit I am one of them

No one is calling for assistants to be fired today or whether Dabo is calling plays (if he did call plays yesterday, we are fine w/ it). Many thought Trotter was having a “bust” of a year. One game has changed this board. Let’s face it- winning changes everything- even one win where we had lowest total yardage of the year and only 7 points in second half. One win- where our QB had his worse game statistically. Fans are as fickle as any addict who gets a hit. Dabo was correct- I believe this team IS the team we saw yesterday without crucial turnovers and mistakes. Maybe it ISN’T and WASN’T subpar assistants or the Waffle House menu coaching. Just trying to digest how I a fan can be.

having a bust of a year, Dabo interfering with the play calling, Wes Goodwin not being a good DC and other nonsense have been MIA on here for the most since the win. Still doesn’t mean there shouldn’t be a few changes to the offensive staff, but it was absurd to call for the whole offensive staff to go.

Weird, ain't it?🤔
All you're really seeing is some "what-aboutisms" and "ackashually's" from them right now because they have ABSOLUTELY NOTHING RELEVANT TO SAY😊

Is the first step in recovery. Once again to all morons calling for Austin’s head on a stick, Dabo said he did a phenomenal coaching job and that is really all that matters. If you feel otherwise, you are just wrong. Now the tough part - your nor my opinion makes one bit of difference to Dabo or Clemson football. It stings, I know… Every one of you that thinks you understand the dynamics between coaches and coaches, and coaches and players are simply ignorant. You aren’t there, so you don’t really know what’s going on. Stop fantasizing and start working on yourself to become a better, more stable fan. Losing sucks, but circular firing squads never help any situation. So put your muskets down and try to learn from your past bad behavior. Most of all, stop ragging Clemson. Period.

First I'd heard that one. But I don't go to the other boards like the chat or the lounge.
Our defense is the only reason we've won the 3 p5 games we have... and the defense players have been real hard on themselves.

Let's not get too bent over this win

I have questioned the coaching staff for about 3 years now (every player cannot be a "bust"). This win was great, but we still saw some of the same old coaching head scratchers.
We got super conservative in the 4th AGAIN. That has cost us more than one game this year.
We saw players that many have theorized should be starting; blow the fk up for almost 200 yards. The only reason that happened is because the starter was hurt. That is STILL a coaching issue.
We are lucky that ND (much like us) does not have a superstar receiver like FSU or NCst to burn us in the end (with the multiple chances we gave them).
Again, this was a great win over a good team. It doesn't mean we didn't lose to some teams worse than ND, and don't forget that Louisville blew them out. MIami, FSU, and NCst were all winnable with a couple of different coaching decisions (i.e. we took 16 seconds off the clock against Miami, when we could have put the game away).
We still played better with players that the coaches were "forced" to play. And that is still a "coaching problem" in my eyes.
Now go celebrate your national championship.

We didn't get super conservative. We started making bad plays, snap over the quarterback's head, missed a block on a screen, snapped a ball in the dirt, etc.

Did I say “wins”? Or did I say he played us pretty good?
Anyway. He beat us a few times and played really close A LOT; with players not in the same stratosphere. That’s good coaching.
Even if had said wins, 15.4% is still way more than the 1.5% that Dabo claims will make him go somewhere else to be appreciated. So, I guess 15.4% is an absurdly high percentage on the TNet scale.
But then again you probably think making an 84.6 on a test, is good.

Was a great win and I’m choosing to be happy on Sunday.
It’s also true Clemson scored 7 points from the 8 min and change mark through the rest of the game.

Be happy and encouraged. But Grisham, Austin, and maybe Spiller should definitely be released at the end of the season. One game does not alter the trend that has occurred for years. That trend is not a sign of a fickle fan or addict. Thinking one big win or one sober day has fixed everything or proved all is right with the program is a sign of a fickle fan or addict.
