Pugh Commits to Tigers

CLEMSON, SC -- According to MickyPlyler.com defensive back Travis Pough (6-1, 180, 4.7) from Manning, SC has given a verbal commitment to Clemson. Pugh had been a heavy lean to the Tigers and had stated he would commit when offered. He was also receiving contact from South Carolina. As a junior, Pugh had 100 tackles and 6 interceptions. At Clemson Pugh will be reunited with former teammate Brian Mance and will be used as a safety by the Tigers. Pugh was recruited by Clemson assistant Brad Scott.
