WATCH: Lawrence used bye week to relax, fish

by - Assoc. Editor -

Clemson starting quarterback Trevor Lawrence spoke to the media Monday sharing what he did during his weekend with no game.

"It was really nice to go home," he said with a smile. "I went home this weekend and relaxed a little bit spending time with the family. It was much needed. It was good. When I go home, I just kinda hang out around the house with the family and see my friends."

Lawrence was asked about his high-profile celebrity-standing when he returns home to Cartersville.

"I don't go out much too much in public so I don't have to deal with any of that kind of stuff. This weekend, I laid around the house and went fishing and stuff. It was cool."

It appears that fishing is a pretty big deal for some of the Clemson players as Cade Stewart, John Simpson, and Lawrence went fishing during their off-week.
