Two Clemson graduate assistants headed to SMU

Two Clemson graduate assistants are headed to Dallas, Texas to join Chad Morris' staff at SMU according to sources.

Clemson graduate assistant Joe Craddock will be SMU's new offensive coordinator.

For the last three seasons, 29-year old Craddock has worked closely with Morris as an offensive player development coach. He played college football at Middle Tennessee State from 2005-2008 and was a team captain his senior season. He also had a stint in the Italian Football League. In 2010 and 2011, he was the offensive coordinator at Briarwood Christian School in Birmingham, Alabama.

Clemson graduate assistant Dustin Fry will be the new offensive line coach for the Mustangs.

The 31-year old Fry played in the NFL from 2007-2010 for the Rams, Browns, Panthers and Broncos. He was a fifth-round pick of the St. Louis Rams in 2007. He also lettered four years with Clemson and was a first-team All-ACC center in 2006.

Also, former Clemson offensive video graduate assistant Justin Stepp will be SMU's new wide receiver coach. Stepp had held the same position the last three years at Appalachian State.
