Report: Clemson Football to play Huskies in 2021

The Clemson Football team will have a new and first-time opponent as the Connecticut Huskies will roll into Death Valley on Saturday, Sept. 11, 2021 according to the upcoming Connecticut Board of Trustees meeting.

"The University will play a regular season away football game at Clemson University on September 11, 2021," agenda from the Board of Trustees stated. "This is a standard game competition agreement in which the University’s football team is participating as the away team."

The details say that the Huskies will get paid $1,200,000 for playing the Tigers.

Clemson has not confirmed this matchup as of Friday morning.
