Clemson has stayed away from the juco ranks in recent years. This season Jonathon Warren was a juco prospect the Tigers were actually pursuing. Warren was scheduled to make the trip to Clemson this weekend.

We have confirmed through multiple sources Warren will not be visiting Clemson this weekend. Warren remains as an offer, but his future is in doubt.

Warren is working through some academic issues right now. He will remain on the board and he is a prospect the Tigers will continue to recruit.

The Warren situation is unfortunate, but it may not be bad for Clemson. Clemson can put more focus on Darius Gaither, who is looking at Clemson, Tennessee, and South Carolina. Gaither is the better player and would be a four year contributor to the program.

We will continue to track down the safety prospects the Tigers are currently recruiting to join DeAndre McDaniel in this class.
