Tiger Source confirmed late Tuesday evening that Gaffney linebacker Julius Wilkerson will not sign with Clemson on Wednesday. He remains firmly committed to Clemson, and Clemson is leaving the door open for Wilkerson.
Wilkerson may sign with Clemson around April or May. The coaching staff is working with Wilkerson to address his best interests and the best interests of Clemson. Clemson expects 18 signatures on Wednesday, and they are awaiting word on CJ Spiller and Marcus Sims.
