recently reaffirmed his commitment to Clemson, Urban Meyer and Ohio State are moving on to other quarterback targets. Meyer had offered Watson as its only quarterback in the 2014 recruiting cycle, but this week Ohio State has handed out 3 quarterback offers to Kyle Allen, Brandon Harris, and Zack Darlington.

In ESPN's intital rankings for 2014 high school prospects, Clemson commit Deshaun Watson was ranked as the #1 quarterback in the nation and the #13 overall player for the 2014 recruiting class.

As a junior, Watson has records in career total touchdowns with 155, career passing yards with 9,360 and career passing scores with 108. He helped Gainesville to its first ever state title, culminating in a 49-13 defeat of Ware County in the Georgia Dome in Atlanta. Watson also became just the second player in GHSA history to throw 50 touchdowns in a season and the third to throw for over 4,000 yards in a season (4,011).
