James McKinney was selected to play in the US Army All American in San Antonio yesterday. McKinney had four tackles in the game, while battling a nagging hip injury.

"The all star game was a good experience for me. I want to thank the US Army for letting me play. My roommate was Jamario Neal, and I hung out with Fred Rouse a lot."

McKinney appeared headed to Oklahoma for his final visit on January 21, but now that appears to be up in the air.

"I haven't heard from Oklahoma recently, but I really like their program. Florida and Ohio State are two other schools that I am looking at for my final visit."

Now, McKinney may have to push his final visit back to January 28. McKinney says their is still no leader between Michigan, Clemson, Nebraska, and the aforementioned universities.

"If I go on the 21st, I will make my decision that following week. If I have to wait til the 28th, I will make my decision on Signing Day. I just want to see where I am comfortable academically and fit in with their playing style."

We will keep you informed this week on McKinney's final visit.

***You can hear McKinney's full interview tonight on the "2005 Recruiting Show brought to you by George Coleman Ford of Travelers Rest."
