took his official visit to Alabama this weekend and enjoyed the trip, according to his father Eddie Muhammad. Goldman, one of the nation’s top recruits, was there for the Crimson Tide’s highly-anticipated game against No. 1 LSU and experienced the intensity of the rivalry. “The game atmosphere was mad crazy,” Muhammad said. “Even before the game, the people in the streets, it’s a whole other planet down there.” Goldman, a 6-foot-4, 315-pound lineman, was there with several other top recruits that Alabama has been targeting. He got to spend time with them, meet current players, such as his host player, freshman linebacker Trey DePriest, and talk more with Alabama’s coaches. Goldman and six other top recruits and their families even ate breakfast at Coach Nick Saban’s house on Sunday morning. Muhammad said he left with a good impression of Goldman’s recruiter, assistant head coach Sal Sunseri. “Coach Sal was an unbelievably gracious host,” Muhammad said. “He did everything, a class act, A-plus, top notch. I think he’s an excellent teacher, too.”
