The 6-4 SG has early offers from Clemson, Miami(OH), Samford and Western Kentucky. He took an unofficial visit to Clemson on 8/25/14. Broughton averaged 11 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals for the Derby State Throroughbreds. For North Laurel, he averaged 10 points last season. He has been to the Jr. All-American camp, Blue Chip Basketball Camp, Elite Hoops Showcase, and the NOLA Primetime Super 60 event.
