Phillip Morris is living on determination. Having not yet qualified with his S.A.T. scores, the Clemson signee plans to take care of that problem in very near future. Once he does that, he will begin to focus on his career as a Tiger.

"I have been real close to qualifying on my S.A.T., but have come up just short," Morris said. "But I will be taking it again in June, and I know I can get the score I need."

"I am very excited about going to Clemson. I can't wait to get there and see what the outcome is."

Clemson fans should be just as excited. Since the end of football season, Morris had been as elusive to the competition on the track and he was to defenders as a wide receiver and running back. He is part of Timmonsville's 4 x 100 relay team, and with a time of 10.6 in the 100, has yet to be beat this season.

"I am looking forward to the football season because we have a lot of players coming back, and I think we will be pretty good," Morris said. "As for myself, I am just going on hope, and looking forward to getting a chance to show what I can do."
