"When I was in Senegal, I thought you had to be an incredible player to play here in America," Djitte said. "Coming here, I was like, 'Wow, I'm going to struggle, but I'll work to get like them.' When I started playing with them, I started seeing, maybe they're better than me, but they're not way better than me. They work, and I'll do the same thing. When those schools started recruiting me, it just told me I was doing what I was supposed to be doing."
