TEAM

Clemson committed 11 turnovers on Thursday against Florida State and finished the season with 355 over 31 games. The 11.45 turnovers per game are the fewest on record for a Tiger team. The previous record was 11.57 per game by Rick Barnes’ 1994-95 team.

The Tigers finished the season yielding 60.1 points per game. That is Clemson’s best scoring defense average since 1950. In fact, each of the top three best single-season scoring defenses since 1950 have been in Brad Brownell’s three seasons at Clemson.

Clemson averaged 61.5 points per game in 2012-13, the lowest scoring average by a Tiger team since the 1970-71 squad averaged 58.9 per game.

Clemson’s .317 three-point percentage for the season was its lowest since the 1996-97 team shot a .310 figure.

(2001-05) for 28th in Clemson history.

Booker finished his career with 728 rebounds, 10th-most in school history.

Booker and his older brother, Trevor, combined for 2,879 points in their respective careers at Clemson. They are the fourth-highest brother scoring combination in ACC history.

Booker played in 128 games as a Tiger, tied with Sam Perry (2004-08) for eighth-most in Clemson history.

Booker had 45 dunks this season, 10th-most in a single season in Clemson history.

Milton Jennings, Clemson’s other senior, finished his career with 952 points and 605 rebounds. He is 22nd in Clemson history with the 605 rebounds.

K.J. McDaniels had 16 points on Thursday against Florida State, giving him 304 for the season to equate to a 10.9 per game average. He improved his scoring average by 7.0 points per game as a sophomore, the biggest jump by a Tiger player since Will Solomon’s +14.6 increase as a sophomore in 1999-2000.

McDaniels had two blocked shots on Thursday and 58 for the season. His blocked shot total was a single-season record by a Tiger player 6-foot-6 or shorter and actually tied Clemson’s career leader in that category, Perry, in one season alone.

McDaniels blocked at least one shot in his final 18 games of the 2012-13 season. That is the longest streak by any Clemson player since Sharone WrightSharone Wright

had 15 versus Virginia Tech in 2012 in Atlanta.

Roper made at least one three-pointer in nine straight games to end his freshman season, and led the Tigers for the season with 41. He is the first freshman to lead Clemson in three-pointers since Terrence Oglesby in 2007-08.

Roper reached double figures in the scoring column in 11 games and averaged 11 points per game in Clemson’s final 11 contests.

Roper finished the season with a team-best .414 accuracy from three-point range. He is the first freshman since Oglesby to shoot at least .400 for a season from three, and one of only five in Clemson history to accomplish the feat (based on minimum of 25 attempts).

Roper recorded career-highs for free throws made (9) and attempted (13) on Thursday against Florida State.

Roper led the Tigers this season with 35 steals. He is the first freshman to lead Clemson in steals since Vernon HamiltonVernon Hamilton
