CJ Spiller rushed for over 1,800 yards this season and did nothing to diminish his status as one of the nation's top running backs. Dabo Swinney is recruiting Spiller for the Tigers. Many believed after Spiller did not take his unofficial visit to Clemson he was no longer seriously considering Clemson. So where do the Tigers stand with Spiller?
"Clemson is right there in the lead group. I am taking an official visit to Clemson on January 13th. Clemson is right there with Miami, Florida State, Southern Cal, Florida and Alabama." Spiller has already visited Southern Cal officially, and he has dates set for Miami (1/20), and Florida State (1/27). Spiller is not ready to name a leader, and he says doesn't expect a commitment anytime soon. "It is too early to put one school out in front. It is tough because there are a lot of great schools recruiting me. I will take my visits before I make a commitment. After my visits I will sit down and talk with my family, and then make a decision. There was a chance that I would announce my decision at the U.S. Army game but I am just not sure if I will be ready by then."
