Allen has early offers from Alabama, Arizona State, Auburn, Clemson, Colorado State, Duke, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Kentucky, Louisville, Maryland, North Carolina, Penn State, South Carolina, Tennessee, Vanderbilt and Virginia. Kentucky was the first to offer. As a sophomore, he was named MaxPreps Sophomore All-American.
