5-star 2017 safety Jeffrey Okudah from Grand Prairie, Texas (South Grand Prairie HS) has Clemson in his top group on Monday night according to his Twitter account.
His top six schools were Clemson, Florida State, Georgia, Ohio State, Oklahoma, and USC. "First off, I want to start off by saying Happy Birthday to my beautiful mother," Okudah tweeted. "After 52 years of nothing but hard work and perseverance, I am glad to say you will NOT have to pay a dime for my college education. Next, I want to thank every single school for the opportunity to further advance my athletic and academic endeavors. After praying on it, I will be moving forward exclusively with these six schools." Okudah has national offers from Alabama, Florida, Georgia, LSU, Michigan, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Stanford, Texas A&M, Mississippi, Texas, Arizona State, Arkansas, Auburn, Baylor, California, Duke, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Houston, Iowa, Miami, Missouri, Nebraska, North Carolina, Oklahoma State, Oregon State, Penn State, TCU, Tennessee, Texas Tech, UCLA and USC. In January, he had a top 10 list of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, LSU, Notre Dame, Michigan, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Stanford and Texas A&M. The versatile athlete had 43 tackles and four pass deflections as a junior. In 2014, he had 19 receptions for 460 yards and six touchdowns. He plans to participate in the U.S. Army All-American game in January and has an interest in business and marketing in college.
