Clemson made the list with his other finalists - Alabama, Nebraska, Ohio State and USC. Johnson Jr. is a consensus 4-star wide receiver recruit by all the major recruiting services. He has offers from Alabama, Arizona, Arizona State, Boise State, California, Clemson, Florida State, Kansas State, Kentucky, Louisville, Miami, Mississippi, Nebraska, Ohio State, San Diego State, SMU, Syracuse, Tennessee, UCLA, USC, Utah, Wake Forest, West Virginia and others. Clemson offered on 4/10/14 while he was on an unofficial visit with his father and teammate Darney Holmes. In 2014, Johnson Jr. had 40 receptions for 604 yards.
