Report: Clemson to play in 2017 Charleston Classic

Clemson will participate in the 2017 Charleston Classic according to a report on Friday by CBSSSports.com's Jon Rothstein.

The three-day tournament will have 8 teams playing with Auburn, Clemson, Dayton, Hofstra, Indiana State, Maryland, Old Dominion and Temple.

The date of the tournament at the TD Arena (College of Charleston venue) has not yet been released.

Clemson finished this past season with a 17-14 record and missed the postseason for the fourth time in six years.
