ESPN Bowl Projection for Clemson

by - Assoc. Editor -

ESPN has released its Week 9 ACC Bowl Projections and it has still has Clemson in the Capital One Orange Bowl against Notre Dame.

If Notre Dame does not make a playoff slot or a New Year's Six Bowl game, then it will take a bowl spot from an ACC school.

Florida State is still projected in the College Football Playoffs while Duke is projected to the Russell Athletic Bowl.

ESPN analysts Brett McMurphy and Mark Schlabach also have Clemson projected in the Orange Bowl but disagree with the bowl opponent. McMurphy has Auburn as the opponent while Schlabach has the Fighting Irish.

Also, ESPN's Heather Dinich has a projection of Clemson vs Alabama in the Orange Bowl.

Clemson's next game is against Wake Forest and will be played in Winston-Salem on Thursday, 11/6 on ESPN at 7:30 PM.
