Clemson ranked #2 in CFB Playoff Rankings |
The Clemson football team (9-0, 6-0 ACC) was ranked the #2 overall seed in the College Football rankings released by the College Football Playoff committee on Tuesday night on ESPN.
The College Football Playoff Committee chose Alabama (#1 seed), Clemson (#2 seed), Michigan (#3 seed) and Washington (#4 seed) as the four teams projected in the playoff. Clemson dominated Syracuse 54-0 last Saturday in Death Valley, and the Tigers go for their 10th win of the season against Pittsburgh on Saturday afternoon. #2 Clemson has wins over #6 Louisville, #9 Auburn, and #18 Florida State. Vegas currently has a pick'em for #2 Clemson against #3 Michigan if they faceoff in the playoff. #20 USC and #25 Arkansas were new to the poll this week while Florida (previously #11) and Baylor (previously #17) are now out.
