Clemson ranked #1 in ACC Revenue |
The ACC brought in $302.3 million in total revenue in 2013-2014 according to the league on Friday.
The IRS fillings that are public to request showed that the ACC schools received an increase of $1.5 million in 2013-2014 with Clemson making a high of $21.3 million to a low of $17.9 million to Wake Forest. Partial ACC school Notre Dame received $4.9 million. ACC Television rights with 14 football schools soared from $146 million in 2012-2013 to $197 million in 2013-2014. The conference made $232.3 million in 2012-2013 and $158.2 million in 2009-2010. ACC schools should get another bump in revenue next year with Maryland's exit fee, the new Orange Bowl contract and with the new College Football Playoffs. ACC commissioner John Swofford had a pay decrease ($70K) from his salary from $2.1 million to 2.04 million in 2013-2014.
