Clemson to hire a new women's golf coach |
CLEMSON, S.C. – JT Horton will no longer be the head coach of the women’s golf program, Director of Athletics Dan Radakovich announced today.
"We appreciate the work Coach Horton did during the inaugural seasons of our women's golf program," Radakovich said. "But we've made the decision to move in a new direction.” Horton has led the program since its inception in 2011, leading the Tigers to NCAA Tournament berths in two of the team’s three seasons of competition. Clemson announced an immediate search for a head women's golf coach. "The potential for women's golf at Clemson is extremely high," Radakovich said. "With our facilities and the wealth of talent in the area, I feel confident we'll find a great coach to lead this program into the future."
