WATCH: Marriage proposal in stands during Clemson-SC game

Stray water bottles and love was in the air at William-Brice Stadium on Saturday night.

One young couple in attendance had the night of their lives as they were engaged in the stands. Diehard Clemson fan Peter Cribbs from Lexington, S.C. proposed to Gamecock fan Ashley Crafts during Clemson's 34-10 win against South Carolina.

TigerNet reached out to the happy couple to get a few details about their romantic and special moment.

"Her Grandfather played for Carolina as an offensive lineman, but now she has said forever to me hence the forever to thee they use," Cribbs said. "Things were really ugly last year with our National Championship and their losing season, but we've managed to get through this season happily. I've been a Clemson fan since birth and attend multiple games every year. I love my Tigers! How exciting that Dabo won his 100th game this very night! And my man Hunter Renfrow made that huge play right after she said yes. This night could not have gone any better!"

The happy couple might have both school mascots in attendance at their upcoming wedding.

"We were on cloud nine all night long and still are. We haven't set an exact date yet, but we are looking into spring next year," Cribbs said. "I thought she was on to me when out of the blue she asked if she could have cocky at our wedding and I replied only if the Tigers could come. What a coincidence!"

TigerNet wants to wish the 'house divided' couple best wishes and a wonderful life together.
