Clemson LB, DB out for ACC Championship game

Clemson coach Dabo Swinney spoke with the media on Wednesday night and shared that Clemson sophomore linebacker Tre Lamar will be out for Saturday's ACC Championship game against No. 7 Miami.

Lamar is still rehabbing from a shoulder injury (stinger) and won't be ready to return to action. Swinney shared that he is getting better and will be cut loose when they start bowl practice a week from Sunday.

However, in other linebacker news, J.D. Davis and Chad Smith are good to go.

Swinney said that junior cornerback Mark Fields re-tweaked his ankle and will be out against Miami.
