has named his top four schools, and the Clemson Tigers sit atop that list.

Geohaghan is the 4-star safety out of Allendale Fairfax High School who is listed as the 15th-best safety prospect in the nation according to Scout, and he told TigerNet this week that is list is being narrowed down.

“I would say that Clemson is number one,” Geohaghan said. “South Carolina in number two, UNC is number three and Pitt is number four. I am looking at making a decision either in the middle of June or July.”

The 2012 recruit likes to make his mark on the field as well as the classroom – he bench presses 235 pounds, squats 350 pounds, vertically jumps 31.5-inches, runs a 4.31-second pro shuttle and runs a 4.59-second 40-yard dash and holds a 3.2 GPA.

Clemson was the first to offer Geohaghan, who now also holds offers from South Carolina, Connecticut, Duke, East Carolina, Illinois, Kentucky, Middle Tennessee St., Minnesota, UNC, N.C. State, Tulane, Vanderbilt and Wake Forest.

Geohaghan said that coaches from Georgia Tech, Notre Dame, Pittsburgh, South Carolina, East Carolina, Florida Atlantic and N.C. State dropped by the school, and he is expecting a visit from Clemson coaches next Monday.

He said that he and Clemson defensive backs coach Charlie Harbison stay in constant contact, as does recruiter Marion Hobby.

“Marion Hobby, I really like him,” he said. “We have built a great relationship since February. I really like Clemson because of the academics, the coaches and the overall fan support. I also like the family feel to the school.”
