Tech Wrecks the Tigers, 85-64

ATLANTA, GA -- Clemson's Will Solomon struggled for the second straight game Saturday as
the Tigers suffered a 85-64 loss to Georgia Tech (16-10, 8-7 Atlantic Coast Conference)
in Atlanta. Clemson (11-16, 2-12 Atlantic Coast Conference)
came no closer than an 11 point deficit with 9:44 to play in second half, before the
Yellow Jackets blew the game open.


The Tigers were led in scoring for the second straight game by ACC rookie
of the year candidate Tony Stockman with 14. Solomon who entered the game
as the ACC's No. 2 scorer with a 20.6 average scored just 13. Chris Hobbs
and Edward Scott each added 10 points for Clemson. Hobbs also had 10 boards.


Playing his final home game, Shaun Fein scored 22 points for the Jackets.


Clemson travels to Charlottesville, Wednesday to take on the Virginia Cavaliers
in their next to last regular season game. Clemson will host Florida State in
their final home game on Saturday, March 3rd before traveling to Atlanta for
the ACC Tournament.
