Yes…….he could very well be. He has and will always be one of my favorites to put on a Clemson uniform. His work ethic and desire to perform at a high level is second to none……😊👍🏼. Go Tigers…!!!! Go Big Ben…!!! 🏈🏈🏈

He is, and will forever be, one of my favorites. The mentality and work ethic makes him the winner. If he can instill this into some of the players, we'll have another n.c. lessons that carry over into life in general ..

The article specifically mentions the Alabama game but the game that I really remember was the 31 to nothing beat down of Ohio state. I remember Ben and the defense identifying the place and shifting while the players were in motion and blowing up the entire play. Those boys were dialed in and had watched a lot of film was obvious right there. They knew all the tendencies and what they did in each situation. Add that to the Killer Instinct and intensity that he brought to the table and we had a good one. While he was a heck of a player he never had the gifts that others had. Didn't have the length or the speed but what he did have was a nose for the football and work ethic. I think Woodaz as in Brown are going to both have monster years this year. Don't sleep on Wade as he was in my opinion our best linebacker for most of the last 2 years. Sammy just is that gifted.

#1: Ben Boulware Defensive Captain LB #2: Isaiah Simmons Defensive Captain LB #3: James Skalski Defensive Captain LB
The gap between 1 and 3 is very very large. And any LB corp since has been even larger of a drop off
!!!!! Time to course correct the legacy Sammy Brown !!!!

Kendall Joseph was a very smart and talented unsung star of his years at backer. Our linebackers were so good during the Coach V era that it is amazing we don't have NFL players out of the bunch.

You could argue they far outperformed b/c of his intensity and coaching..... And perhaps we are underestimating what BV was able to do with Porkchop as his defensive analyst. Jimmy Greenbeans and Rainman might have been the perfect defensive combo. It will be interesting to see them reunited this season at OU.... though I doubt it will have the same effect with BV having to do the Head Coaching.
I will say one day I was able to watch a spring practice scrimmage and was walking off the field to the parking lot in front of the Occulus. This was a year or two before the new football complex opened b/c the weight room was opposite of the locker room. This was before the scrimmage, but the only one in the weight room was BV and he was getting after it. Joey was spotting him and he was moving 315 on the bench. I swear that man could still suit up and play LB..... He's one of a kind.

This was an excellent read, and great insight into Boulware. Wow, he's a leader. Always admired his hustle and play on the field, but to read about his preparation is really awesome. Preparation is the separator, between good and great.
