Nice featurette! Phil is very well spoken and seems to have all his priorities in order, a good representative for Clemson and his wonderful family. I have liked his game since he came on the scene and believe he is going to have a monster season. Can’t wait for Monday night to see the Tigers and the 1-2 combo of Shipley and Mafah.

I knew I liked this kid. He’s my favorite running back on our team. I had no idea his parents were immigrants and I really like the last name Mafah! They have done a great job with this boy. He’s very smart and grounded. Just the type of athlete we need at Clemson.

Who wouldn’t like to have him as a representative of Clemson? His priorities, family, and work ethic are top notch. This fine story tight me so much about him, his family, and his faith. May God give him great success!

What an absolutely, uplifting story...just WOW! Thanks Clemson, for sharing things like this with us.
Also, just technically speaking, the production level is "off the charts". You guys are killing it!
My heart swells with pride when I watch something like this that not only captures the spirit and potential for each and every immigrant that comes (legally) to our country, but also the incredible effect and inspiration that Dabo Swinney and his approach seems to have on his teams.
