I do like this new rule in the NBA. I wish the NFL had something similar. A lot of college talent has been wasted and lives ruined by guys who got talked into declaring for the NFL draft when they should have come back to school.

Exactly, a lot more kids would be coming back, which benefits everybody except the nfl teams. Maybe if they got compensation picks like mlb for drafted players who do not sign, they would go for it.

Hope for the best for PJ and certainly would like to see him go high in the draft. I suspect he'll come back and try to improve his status but we'll see. The one thing I am not looking forward to would be the total reboot our team would have to go through next year if he leaves. I would guess we would have a pretty rough season without him. I think this is pretty much a default move for all players hoping to go to the NBA in the future.

I full expect him to return as there's a very small chance

he'd be drafted.
Also, in the NBA, very few 2nd round draft picks receive guaranteed contracts, so if you're not promised to be selected in the 1st round, you may as well return (or transfer for NIL money).
NBADraft.Net currently has him ranked 87th for 2023, so he should return to college.
It will definitely be advantageous for PJ to get in front of the scouts though as they'll be able to critique his game and give him advice on what he needs to improve on next season.

Losing Tyson & Galloway was gonna be enough of hurt already. Better hope this team wins NIT & gets something out of this season b/c if next season craters, then I'd expect ground-up rebuild

Have another year at full health and for gawts sake, hope Brownell doesn’t squash hit talents with Church League basketball philosophy and tactics.

If we lose PJ, Neff should rescind his decision. We are still struggling, in part due to KJ’s decision to leave early. Unless CBB reveals a third eye that attracts all the available portal talent at every position of need, if PJ leaves, we don’t dance for several years.
