Hoping he spends a good bit of time in Georgia’s backfield.

I know it’s only day two but I’m already on record as saying I believe Pace will end the season with the most carries. Lynn J will come a close second. I still believe Shipley will be used more in passing game than as a pure RB

I was saying that last year, that he should get more carries, really like the way he runs

...thought he was out til later in the year at the earliest? I know Dabo said he's doing better than expected but had no idea he was out there throwing the ball. Good news!

Drop back throws only. No roll out throws but yes, ahead of schedule for sure.

4 words: Wheel Routes, Yes Please

These seemed to disappear the past couple years... someone more knowledgeable than me can tell me what the issue(s) was/were/is/are. They can be such game-breakers and fun as h*ll to watch. I love a good wheel route and hope we can implement more.

Keeping as much extra protection for QB to help the OLine is, IMO, why we don't see so many RBs and TEs catching as many passes as we'd like.

I don't think pass protection was as much of an issue last season as run blocking. Also, last season I felt like we used our TE's and RB's in the passing game more than we have either ever or in a long time. I looked at last season's stats according to ESPN.com. If you combine receptions, yards, and TD's from TE's and RB's it looked like this:
113 rec. by TE & RB out of 326 total as a team = 34.6%
1,352 yards by TE & RB out of 4,182 as a team = 32.3%
11 receiving TD's by TE & RB out of 31 = 35%
So pretty much evenly 1/3 of our reception production came from TE and RB rooms. That's pretty productive if you ask me. Sure the more the better as long as we are in total making more receptions, bc if not the WR room is going to be ill.

Watch the highlights from last years BC game. Wheel route came up big a few times in that one.

Way early. But glad to hear Tate is getting some 1st team reps at OG. Also good news on XT, Booth and Ajou. It’s been all but underlined that Ajou is in another league athletically; it’s on him to firm up the playbook and coaches to get him on the field. A healthy and motivated XT spells trouble for GA. Former IMG teammates and DE’s XT and Nolan Smith will be competing on opposite sidelines 9/4. Great time of year.

I'm really excited about Marcus tate. The way he's being talked about he seems to be the surprise of the entire class... also Ajou is just a baller. I don't think dabo is gonna be able to keep him off the field much longer. XT NEEDS to get the majority of reps. I love Kj but XT is the guy. Everything else comes off about as expected. Receivers getting beat just means our DB's are dominant which they should be this early in camp if they're worth anything.
