I hope our players are as tired as I am of hearing how "rough and tough" the Boston College players are, suggesting indirectly that our guys are somehow wimps. I am on my knees praying that we take these guys to the woodshed. Didn't they lose to N.C. State?? If so, how did that happen, since they are such tough guys?? I really hope that our players have been listening to all of this noise. HOPING FOR A WIPE-OUT.

I'm betting my chips that they have been hearing all the BS being said them all, and they are rocking on ready for that Street fight that they have been hearing about, and they will be going for a knock out!!!!!

Saw a bit of ESPN while eating my slice of pizza at lunch. A talking head was saying BC needs to be successful running the ball and win time-of-possession to have a chance.
I wasn't 100% sure, so I looked up the Louisville game stats. Clemson was "dominated" on TOP 37:31 to 22:29.
I'm not so sure that losing in the TOP battle means much to our guys.

As long as we are scoring quickly I don't care what the TOP is. BC likes to and will try to eat the clock up as much as they can. However, you have to get a lot of first downs for that to happen and I see our defense taking over once we get up two scores.

Man, I hope that you are right.I haven't been thjis ticked off about a game in years. Boston is primarily known for one thing: Rampant crime----one of the most dangerous cities in the country. Back in the day, I had an opportunity to do my internship in Boston. A lady who was a former resident of Boston advised me to not even consider it,and I didn't. It is apparently filthy and crime-ridden.

I like Nikki’s 42-13 prediction. She has been closest all year and I think she is spot on again. If BC goes over 13 it will be due to another garbage time score against our 3rd and 4th string.

I can also go with that. INMHO, we have the best college QB in the country. Barring some type of severe lapse, we should handle BC.

I was there - it was very similar conditions to this Saturday's forecast for Chestnut Hill. Music City Bowl was 32-35 deg F, windy and flurries. A vintage 2009 Tiger team had no trouble handling Kentucky. OK, yes, we did have CJ Spiller!
History says weather won't be a factor...I certainly think the vintage 2018 Tigers will still be able to carry out a beat down of BC!!

I live in MN. If you are running around in pads and playing in 32 degree weather you will warm up. Not sure of the wind speeds though. That is what makes the difference.

Addazio must have forgotten where Clemson was located bc, in the foot hills of SC is where Fist Fighting was originated, and if it's a good ole fight he will be looking for, those guys from Clemson we be glad to obliged him!!!

I went up there in 2006. Boston was great! Sox game. first time there.
We lost in 2 OT. On the train back downtown, all orange and like being at a funeral. There was orange all over Boston for that matter. But was a bitter pill that game. "##########" was still a bad word back then. Hope for much better result tomorrow.

ESPN wants viewers! Don’t believe the hype about Clemson being a “finesse” team! Tigers are tough...our defense can duke it out with anyone!
Clemson is at least 3 TDs better. Wind and rain could affect ball security which could have a bearing on scoring. But I don’t worry about toughness!

Weather at kickoff - clear, 40 degrees. 20 mph wind! Current WC prediction.
No rain, so footing will be okay. Wind may affect passing (less affect for Lawrence...he throws hard enough to overcome it). Temp will be cold for fans, but not a factor for platers!
