Familiar Refrain: Tigers laugh, dance and win in underdog role
The dictionary says that one of the definitions of a “refrain” is “a comment or complaint that is often repeated.” The Clemson Tigers are underdogs – heavy underdogs in most circles – to Alabama in next Monday’s College Football Playoff National Championship at University of Phoenix Stadium. The comment is a familiar refrain for the Tigers, but you won’t hear them complain. They embrace that role. It’s already worked wonders this season. Full Story » |

Well done, David, as usual. And I've gotta hand it to you, "...national pundits who couldn't find their own butt with two hands and a roadmap..." Probably the best summary of ESPiN "expert commentary" I've ever seen. It's amazing how these idiots make one prediction after another, are wrong most of the time, but you never hear them taking responsibility for their mistakes. Kinda like the "end of the world prophets." Last I checked, the world is still here... and the Tigers are still playing football!
Let's just see if we can prove them wrong... ONE MORE TIME!
Go Tigers!

You said exactly what Clemson fans everywhere have been thinking for the entire season. People outside of Clemson have No clue about Clemson.
Outside of Clemson nation I think there are going to be a lot of surprised people late next Monday night when the Tigers walk away with their 2cnd National Championship.
Clemson is like "The little engine that could" built with 300lb NFL caliber linemen, freakish skill players, and athletes that maul the opposition.

Great article full of slaps on "that 4 letter network"! Couldn't find their butt with both hands and a roadmap, pure classic and you better get a copyright on that one. Leaving Thursday for Arizona to go watch the Tigers play in the big one. Can't wait for Monday nite! GO TIGERS!!!

I just love how ESecPN removed the #1 and #2 designations from Clemson and Alabama in the FPI figure when their "best team in the best conference" appears against Clemson. Just another subliminal indication of their bias. I'll be in Glendale and can't wait to see Clemson prove it yet again in an underdog role. Go Tigers!

Well I'm glad Tigers are taking it this way. But to me it is getting old and there seems to be a lot more to it than just "analysis."
