Just wondering: Anybody else feel like FB season is over?

It seems as if the crushing defeat to USC (or how we literally gave them the win) has taken all the football excitement out of me. The probability of going to the Orange Bowl & playing Alabama should be a really big deal, but I'm worried it will be deja vu WVU again. Anybody else got the same vibe??

they're not really built to "blow teams out"
they may eat the clock and methodically score at times, but IMO their offense isn't built to blow you out and their defense isn't what it's been in recent years

given 1+ months to prepare dabo does "ok"..........but anything less than that vs a good team.........eh???.......much like FSU and USC games
i know, i know WVU............still don't think bama is the bama of the last few years............but assuming we play them we'll see soon enough
no matter the outcome it can't get rid of 5 straight.......there's no "salvaging" the season imo either way

A Bama win salvages this season and sets us up for another run next year. Add that with us still being in play for a number of big time recruits makes the season is FAR from over imo.

before PJ even started coaching at GT, right after the announcement was made that they hired him. A few years later he had won the ACC and after that TB was fired. Regardless of how many years it took, I was right.

We'll start looking foward to our bowl game though some will still complain about not meeting expectations.
No, we'll get ready for Bama and make a good showing. Things have changed since the WVu game. The average age of our players has gone up almost two years since then. Or to say, we were so freshman/soph heavy the overzealousness of youth of that team led them to believe they were invincible.
These three and four year players have matured nicely and are not about to let the younger players get the 'bighead,' like they did on the last trip to Miami.
