Washington Hall of Famer died this weekend . . .

The Washington Redskins were the last NFL Team to integrate . . . The year was 1962 . . . The player was Bobby Mitchell.

Mitchell was traded from Cleveland to Washington. While at Cleveland, his fellow RB was Jim Brown. The two of them were an awesome duo!!!

Mitchell was an Arkansas boy growing up. He dreamt of being a Razorback!!! But Arkansas was not integrated. He graduated without a college offer. The Fighting Illini came through and the rest is history.

Bobby Mitchell was a good one!!!
