Seeing BOT Chair Wilkins as possible replacement for DeMint
Dec 7, 2012, 8:53 AM

Curious if he were to get the appointment from Haley if he would remain chair of the BOT, and how that could potentially impact conference realignments.
I like him leading the charge and it makes me somewhat nervous if he were to have to give up his chair position.

Getting appointed. Keep your eye on Tim Scott to fill the vacancy and to be re-elected in '14.

Wilkins named mentioned for the position strictly as a place holder until the 2014 election.

Anybody will be better than DeMint!

Wasted his time in Washington pushing his extreme right wing agenda and furthering the outrageous "tea party" movement. Not one piece of legislation with his name affixed to it. He did not do anything for the folks in SC who he was there to represent. Good riddance!

any more "Do Nothing" Senators like DeMint(ed). The guy wasted all his time and accomplished ZERO. You don't legislate moral issues.

Glad you're not in Washington. It's an attitude like yours, and not our President, that keeps the US in a stalemate. Give and take (i.e., COMPROMISE) is what gets things done.
