Remember a few years ago...

Jun 15, 2018, 10:51 AM

...when all the talk was about how Clemson had the best defense LAST season and would struggle so much the current year? Then, everybody was amazed at how Venables was able to rebuild to that same level almost overnight with his new class?
How much better do you think we will be this year with all of the returning talent? Is he able to get that much more improvement from such an experienced crew? I certainly hope so!

Lock and reload baby. I'm expecting to have the best D in CFB this season.

A huge improvement will be Dexter playing without an injury with two years of working out. I think we are all in for a big surprise this year at how dominate he will be. This defense should be lights out.

A big part of it is the offense sustaining drives

the LBs and DBs will have to hold their own too. With our D-Line, we may see a lot of screen or quick passes. I don't see many runs and most of them will be draws or sweeps. Teams will probably pass 75% of the time. Just my thoughts.
